The MS Douro Splendour is a purpose-built, five-star river cruise ship launched in 2018, designed specifically to navigate the unique size constraints of the Douro River’s locks and valley. With accommodation for up to 126 guests and a crew of around 36, it offers a generous ratio of staff to passengers and that “small ship” feel that supports personalised service.
