Our journey begins in the imperial splendor of Vienna — where grand palaces, waltzing lights, and festive markets set the stage for a magical cruise along the Danube. Take time to wander through the city’s Christmas villages, sip mulled wine beneath twinkling trees, and soak in the melodies of Mozart and Strauss that still linger through the streets. In the evening, step aboard your luxurious Amadeus ship and settle into your floating home for the week, as the anticipation of the Danube adventure begins.
Sail through the storybook landscapes of the Wachau Valley to Melk, home to the magnificent Melk Abbey — a baroque masterpiece perched high above the river. In Passau, where three rivers meet, wander cobbled lanes and admire the world’s largest cathedral organ filling the air with festive carols.
